This high-style neighborhood cafe is a 2017 newcomer to Bedford-Stuyvesant, perched conveniently across from popular Von King Park. The sunny space is both chic and charming, having seemingly dropped right out of a Wallpaper-ilk lifescaping magazine, with bright white walls and sleek, round-cornered walnut benches and tables.

Coffee here is skillfully pulled Counter Culture, and is backed by a light food menu with a Middle Eastern spin, like goat cheese and fig toast, or the Helba Latte, the house twist on the "Golden" Turmeric Latte craze, but starring fenugreek. And though you can't bring your pets inside Little Roy – which is named for the owners' late Pomeranian – you can certainly pull them up to a bench outside, where water is provided for the many four-legged patrons stopping by with their humans on their way from the park's dog run.
