Highlight Coffee brings quality brews and cheerful vibes to an unsuspecting part of Glendale, a corner gem off of Broadway and Glendale Boulevard in Northeast. Catering to a clientele of work crowds and suburban dwellers, the multi-roaster offers a healthy variety of roasters to their coffee program like Augie's and Sweet Bloom for both pour-over coffees and espresso-milk beverages.

The café itself is airy and welcoming: tall windows allow the space to be naturally lit for most of its operating hours, and a massive rotunda above the bar creates a unique sight for what would otherwise be a simpler spot. Come for both a bite and a brew, for both menus offer a wide variety of treats to try.

Whether you're craving a simple grilled cheese and soup from the kitchen of homemade treats or a unique single-origin coffee, choices are ample and well-curated. Highlight Coffee's specialty beverages are also worth taking a peek at. Does a coffee lemonade or pineapple-lime espresso tonic pique your curiosity? If so, make your way over and get ready to scramble for parking. Choices are limited to meters and streets with precarious street cleaning restrictions.
