Everyday Coffee
33 Johnston St, Melbourne VIC 3066, Australia
Editor's Review
In an area very well covered with some serious roasters and cafes, Everyday Coffee does a great job distinguishing itself with some big flavours coming through their coffees. Clever mixed blends for milky drinks and some solid choices for filter on batch rotate an inheritance of fresh, outstanding seasonal beans. There’s a couple of options available. It’s what they do best – great coffee, smart baristas utilising it. Roasting all their own for espresso and filter through Bureaux Collective, they have become even more self-sustaining, and of own brand. They also have baked goods, being fired out of their oven in Northcote, by a three star michelin chef. ‘All Are Welcome’ is Everyday Coffee’s new venture, and supply the Collingwood store partly with some very fine snacking options that are continuously changing.
High ceilings, floorboards and a wooden panel bar along with floor to ceiling windows give the small space an open and bright feel, which make it great if you want to enjoy your novel or smash out work on your device while the noise of the busy street it sits on is drowned out by sweet coffee and easy music.
