Sitting just away from the chaos of King Street, between the police station and the Courthouse, sits the charming tiled space of 212 Blu.

Partners Cass and Tobin opened up after cutting their teeth in some of East London's finest coffee establishments, so they bring a refreshingly different swathe of options to the Sydney cafe scene.

The atmosphere is always cheery, laid-back, and perpetually full of folks nursing their hangover over a '212 board' - teeming with chorizo, avocado and eggs - or perhaps a giant sobrassada toastie. Their all-day breakfast cocktails get plenty of airtime too... don't forget we're in Newtown, after all.

The coffee is taken very seriously here - so much so, that they now have branched into their own roasting business with Loggerhead Coffee Co, specialising in bottled cold brew and great single origins. Plenty of options for dine in and takeaway.
