Vagabond now has three cafes, (editor's update - now four), each with its own unique feel. The latest is within ‘The CASS’ (John Cass Faculty of Art and Architecture - London Metropolitan University) opposite Whitechapel Gallery. Large cushions make it feel less like a college cafe than it might and it manages to create an unpretentious, relaxing atmosphere to offset what might otherwise be a rather sterile room. The Vagabond espresso has been excellent on my visits. Food including soup, sandwiches and cakes is available as well as hot chocolates from Kokoa Collective. Overall, it’s a neat addition to the area and undoubtedly the best university coffee I have ever experienced.
