Timberyard - Seven Dials

Timberyard - Seven Dials

Timberyard’s second café is a bright, colourful affair. Upon arrival, one is immediately felt welcome by the friendly staff and the eye is caught by the detail of the café design. The coffee is well made and the menu features espresso-based drinks and filters brewed via chemex or bulk brew. Reverse osmosis filtered water helps the coffee experience. An attractive food display tempts the eye and the longer one spends here, the more one notices the thought that has gone into this venture from the seating, to the way drinks are served - even the cutlery is noticeable.

As with their first café, this space is huge, especially for Central London. Customers are encouraged to stay as long as they like especially in the cavernous downstairs spaces which house meeting rooms, more relaxed seating areas and a media room. Although the coffee is well made and served, the way tea is served here is exceptional and should also be experienced.

Oh yes, hours are also a lot longer than most coffee shops with wine served in the evenings. There are plans to extend opening to 10pm daily. Timberyard’s philosophy is to offer a business class café experience where the customer is made to feel special. This is certainly a place to visit.
