If Central London had anything remotely like a village it would be the area around Lamb's Conduit Street. It was into this bespoke locality that the ever excellent Espresso Room came as a coffee pioneer in the ancient days of 2009 and still hold. Now a second speciality coffee shop has arrived in the form of Knockbox.

Knockbox serves Workshop's Cult of Done, along with teas from the Rare Tea Company and hot chocolate by the Kokoa Collection. A range of sandwiches are handmade on the premises using Artisan Bakery bread.

The cafe is light and airy - benefiting from simplicity of design. Mete, who designed the furniture and fittings (along with the knockbox), is enthusiastic about this venture and keen to serve a high standard of coffee and food. It’s yet another reason to visit Bloomsbury which certainly has a lot to offer.
