Brooklyn Coffee is one of the slickest fit outs I've seen for some time, with an impressively developed sense of brand despite being Bryan and Reina's first shop. Although Reina originally hails from the UK, Bryan is a Brooklyn kid, and having both spent time over there together they decided to bring that style aesthetic back to London.
I love the simplicity of cool and clean concrete that manifests as a hefty coffee bar and another at the window for seating, behind a beetle-blue/black shop front that marries clear branding with original features. A small selection of baked goods is contained within a tidy glass counter top case and Mast Bros chocolate lines the front of the bar, a clear nod to their heritage. The effect is unfussy and minimal, the Linea PB remains the clear focal point, there's no question the focus here is on the coffee.
The coffee itself is provided by Caravan and it's handled very well here; I have a good espresso, a very interesting, well dialed-in bulk brew and a refreshing iced coffee.
