Situated in the railway arches right by Hoxton Station, Beagle’s restaurant and bar have always focused on fresh, high quality local produce. They revamped their takeaway coffee outlet in summer 2014 to bring the ethos of the café more in line with that of the restaurant. This means fresh fruit juices from Solstice, cold drinks from Luscombe, quality teas from Rare Teas and a switch to Workshop Coffee Roasters alongside staff training and recruitment. They also stock baked goods prepared in the restaurant kitchen next door. The café is tiny with four seats by the window and a few tables outside.
Hoxton is an area well served by quality coffee bars but it’s good to see Beagle providing an alternative and their location right alongside the train station on a pedestrianised street makes for a relaxed, almost continental ambiance.
